PLAINS GAME

Come join Cilliers Safaris for some fantastic rifle hunting opportunities on Plains game.

With over 30 years experienced Professional Hunters and our fantastic free-roaming plains game areas, you will have the opportunity for at least one of each species.

We strive to give our clients an unforgettable experience and a hunt of a lifetime. We believe in quality over quantity, therefore we only aim to accommodate not more than 20 hunters a year.

Are you worried about bringing Rifles and ammunition into Namibia? Well don't, Namibia is one of the easiest countries to bring in Rifles. We will also assist you every step of the way. If you are still reluctant in travelling with firearms. No stress! We rent out rifles too for your convenience.

BOW HUNTING

Bow Hunting was officially legalised in Namibia by The Ministry of Environment and Tourism in 1997. Since it was legalised Allan Cilliers Hunting Safaris, formally known as "Ha Nore" Safaris, was one of the first Safari Companies in the Northern Region of Namibia to develop and operate bowhunting only areas.

We still possess the finest bowhunting areas in Namibia. Our multiple references, articles published in bowhunting magazines, books written and videos made are proof of our success.

We have over 20 years of bowhunting experience, with 160 000 acres of top free-roaming hunting, it is a bow hunters paradise. We created bow only areas for the bow enthusiasts.

There are 14 different bow hunting blinds situated all over Sandveld. Ranging from pit to elevated blinds that are spacious enough for traditional archers or compound archers. Bow shots ranging from 7 - 20 yards.

Our speciality is tracking down game with the JU/Hoansi Bushman. Hunting with our trackers is an experience that cannot be explained in words. Their knowledge of tracking, veld skills and animal behaviour is remarkable.

Bowhunting in Namibia is truly an experience for any hunter.

Come and join us for your first Bow Hunting Safari.

BIG GAME

With over 30 years of experience, Allan and Wayne are some of the best PH's in Namibia when it comes to Big Game Hunting.

Come and join us around the campfire and hear Allan's legendary stories from his days as a Game Ranger and Wayne's years growing up in the wild, to some of their close encounters as Big Game Professional Hunters.

Experience their expertise in hunting Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo and Crocodile.

We will take you to the wilds of Namibia's famous Zambezi Region and to Mozambique's best hunting concessions for the ultimate free-ranging Big Game Hunting we have to offer.

All Big Game Hunting is done traditionally on foot.

There is no better way than following up on an old Dagga Boys fresh tracks or tracking an Elephant bull for miles.

WING SHOOTING

Not only do we offer some of the best Plains Game in Namibia, but some of the best Wing Shooting as well.

Namibia offers a wide variety of bird species from May to November to hunt. With us situated in the North East of Namibia, we specialise in certain species of bird that occur in that area, such as Helmeted Guineafowl, Red-billed Spurfowl, Crested Francolin, Cape Turtle Dove, Laughing Dove and Burchell's Sandgrouse.

Being a social event wing shooting is best done in small groups. We take a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 per group.

Wing Shooting is either early morning or late afternoon affair. We conduct our hunts early mornings waiting at water points for your grouse and dove species and late afternoons flushing the Spurfowl, Francolins and Guineafowl in dry river beds.

You will be pleasantly surprised by what our chefs will prepare with your shoot of the day.
